Lead Pastor

Tanner and his wife, Marsha, have three beautiful children, Parker, Kesed,  Jordyn & Titus. When he is not spending time being outnumbered at home, he enjoys hanging with friends and a good book with a good cup of coffee. Tanner played basketball in college, and is an avid fan of all of our Titletown teams. His greatest desire is to help connect the people of Greater Boston to God’s design for their lives. Tanner holds the M.Div. and Ph.D. in Applied Theology. At Redemption Hill, Tanner takes the primary lead in preaching, vision, and multiplying leaders.

Jon and his wife, Leigh, met their freshmen year in college and have been married since December 2003. They have four precious children: Ava, Emet, Owen, and Zoe. Having played football in college, Jon enjoys watching and playing most sports, especially basketball and football. He also enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, hiking, reading, and playing music (guitar, drums, and piano). Jon holds the M.Div. and Ph.D. in Biblical Theology. At Redemption Hill, Jon takes the primary lead in our local and international missions partnerships, as well as executing our discipleship strategy.

John and Teresa Reddy, have been married for more than a quarter century and, as Native New Englanders, have raised Karen, Alex, and Joseph in their hometown of North Reading, MA. John has “pursued God’s order in the midst of life’s chaos” through a wide variety of personal and professional experiences in health care and church life. John holds an A.S. (Respiratory Therapy) from North Shore Community College, an MHA (Hospital Administration) from Simmons College, and an MAR (Religious Studies) from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. At RHC, John takes the lead in our serve ministry and connecting our vision with organizational systems to further the mission. 


Administrative Assistant

Michelle, Seth and their son Hampton love calling Medford their home. With a BFA in Interior Design from Suffolk University and experience in Nonprofit Administration and Communications, Michelle enjoys bringing style, creative direction and clarity to RHC's written/graphic material and social media platforms. Her "happy place" is quality time with a friend over a cup of coffee or reading a book at the beach in Maine.  


Worship Leader

It's pronounced "Veeya-low-bows" - Dan is married to his life-long crush, Nikki. Originally from Northern VA, Dan and Nikki moved up to MA in November 2016 for new jobs at a company called Tracelink. Dan graduated from the College of William & Mary with a BA in Linguistics with a Psychology minor. Some of his hobbies are writing music, drinking coffee, and enjoying nature. Dan is humbled and excited about the opportunity to serve alongside the RHC staff.  


Resident Intern

Trent is originally from Dardanelle, AR, where he was born and raised, and comes to us from Columbia, SC. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University with an Associates Degree in General Studies. Trent enjoys eating, playing sports (especially basketball), playing card and board games, and driving around with the windows down listening to music. He first served with GenSend in Boston during the summer of 2015 where he met Pastor Tanner briefly. Three years later, Trent is excited about the opportunity to serve with RHC through Generation LINK Residency and to be back in greater Boston. 



Resident Intern

 Caitlyn and her husband Drew met as students at Clemson University (Go Tigers!) and have been married since January 2017. Caitlyn graduated from Clemson with a BS in Management and a Minor in American Sign Language. Caitlyn was a SummerLINK intern for RHC back in 2012 and after that summer she couldn’t wait to move up to Boston. She made the move in June of 2015 and is thrilled at the opportunity to be brought on staff at RHC as a Generation LINK Resident. Caitlyn and Drew love to play board games, have people over to their house, watch Clemson football, dance, cook dinner together, discover new things in their city and adventure to new places.


Our Directors

Kara Hernley

Redemption Kids Director

Kara was born and raised in Lancaster County, PA. She fell in love with Boston & Massachusetts while attending college on the North Shore and decided to make it her home after graduation. Even from a young age Kara has always enjoyed spending time with kids, and has seen the Lord grow her passion as she became an adult. She is excited to be serving the families and kids at Redemption Hill. When she isn't spending time with young ones, Kara enjoys using her degree in Interior Design to create pieces and spaces to fit a need for herself and others, various types of sewing projects, and will almost always say 'yes' to a cup of coffee.

Will Pope 

Venue Director

Will moved to the Boston area to work at a tech company several years ago, since then he has called Medford his home. When he first moved he did not have a community so he quickly got involved with Redemption Hill Church by setting up parking signs before Sunday morning service. Will enjoys hanging out and exploring all things New England and traveling to new places whenever he can.





     NYC Nepalese Outreach Director 

 Silvanus was born and raised in one of the  most      remote villages of Nepal. He converted from Hindu in  his late teens and dedicated his  life to proclaiming  the gospel through word, action and life. Hardships  and suffering have  helped him to be strong in my faith in Christ and to build confidence in life. He have achieved a successful career in integral missions to address the needs of poor and marginalized people. His wife, Aleno, was born and raised in Nagaland, India. She responded to God's call to go to Nepal as a missionary in 1998. They are blessed to have a son, Ato, who is eagerly preparing to join them in the ministry soon.Silvanus and Aleno, as a couple are coming from another corner of the world, and are very excited to serve God among Nepalis in New York City. They have been serving in NYC since February 2015. Silvanus likes to listen other’s stories over the dinner table and pray with hurting people. He loves to pray for them on the spot and comfort them with the word of God. He loves to invite people at home. He also loves to watch soccer especially during the world cup football (soccer). Silvanus also likes to read manuscripts and do copy editing of an unpublished books (Nepali).
